MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
Monday, October 15th, 2012 @ 6:30 pm
Raymond Library, 840 Main St. E. Hartford, CT 06108
PRESENT: Debra Arrieta, Florence Schroeter, Mary Mourey, Sally Pelletier, Gloria Visgilio-Lupi, Pat Jones, Librarian, and Charles Casella
ABSENCES: Rose Tavtigian, Anthony Foran
CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 6:33 pm.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of the September 17th, 2012 meeting were approved.
LIBRARIAN’S REPORT
- The Library’s new web site is now operational
- The collection has been reduced from 320,000 books to 200,000 books in preparation for library relocation during construction
- During relocation the Wickham Library hours are scheduled to be:
Monday thru Thursday – 9:00am to 9:00pm
Friday – 9:00am to 5:00pm
CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
- The Annual Report is due November 1, 2012.
OLD BUSINESS
- The Library Annual Budget was discussed and no action was taken at this time.
NEW BUSINESS
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 8:33pm.
